Im sometimes force to watch this because of my family. And it sucks, the writing is terrible. The only normal person in this show is Penelope. Everyone else is either a moron or a cliche stereotype. And yeah political messages are annoying. How many episode do i have the hear the cliched teenage feminist daughter berate her brother because hes young , horney and wants to gets laid. Which is just another F###ing stereotype. Why should i watch this over classic good Sitcom that were actually funny like Cheers, Wings, Fraiser. If i want to watch a show about a minority Family. Ill watch Family Matters. Hell i might watch the original One Day at the Time. I only saw it once or twice as a kid. But i pretty sure Ms. Cooper didn't go on a tirade about how Schneider Butt Crack was a symbol of centuries womanly oppression for 2 hours.
