I read the linked posts and the explanation of the reason behind this confusing situation. But tbh even after reading, the current decision does look like a mistake.

• The presence of two different production codes clearly indicates two seperate episodes.
• It's not uncommon for networks to air two episodes consecutively, but who am I telling this?!
• I understand NBC did air these in a glued together kind of way, but even them don't seem to be too convinced about it being one episode. Or why would they skip a number and name the next episode as 3? I mean, is it one episode, then after #1 of course there's #2. If the next is #3, then before that there must be two episodes, no? And why would they name it "part 1" and "part 2" in their own schedule?
• Lastly in my country (Germany) the show is published exclusively by Amazon. Might be so for other countries as woll, IDK... So with Amazon's differing order you now get an episode that doesn't even exist according to TMDB. And that does mess up all kinds of private media servers like Kodi, Plex, you name it.

So IMHO I still think ep. 2 should be added. If you think that for completeness sake ep. 1 must contain some hint it was aired in combination with ep. 2 – okay, I can understand that. But leaving out ep. 2 just seems wrong.
