At his high-school reunion, Bud learns that he and a prospective client have a lot in common. The client's wife was a "friend" of Bud's in high school.

Wild Bill persuades Bud to hire his son, Jay, who looks an awful lot like Bud; and Big Bud reveals a secret he's kept for years.

Bud searches for his biological father, while deciding whether to reveal his identity to Jay, his own illegitimate son.
