Cheat Day - Season 2 Episode 5 - spoilers if you haven't seent it yet!

I wasn't super surprised by some of the revelations, but I wasn't looking for them either. They made sense, which I appreciate. I have not read the books, so everything is new to me. No idea if the story is following the major arcs in the books.
SPOILERS: Julia: Not surprised her not being able to have an abortion. I was thinking it was going to get complicated as soon as they confirmed she was pregnant. As soon as the receptionist was acting strange, you could tell something bad was going to happen.
Fen, Eliot & Margo: I felt Eliot and Margo's behavior were in line with their characters. I was not anticipating Fen's involvement with the resistance. Could be interesting but I don't want them to linger the secret. That would be too cliché for me. I so want her to come clean with Eliot now.
Quentin: I liked his general story this episode, but want him to get back with Eliot and Margo. The quicker the better.
Penny: I felt like his story was just to connect and move everyone else’s along. I am sure there is set up for future episodes. I hope so, otherwise not very much happening with Penny.

I enjoyed the episode. With the title of the episode and the way things were going early on, I also knew that they were going to "cheat" in that scene between Quentin and Alice. I saw that shower scene in the promo, and I originally thought that Alice would be back at that point, but that was clearly a misdirect. I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know when or if they plan on bringing the real Alice all the way back.
It's funny, because in season 1 Alice was one of my least favorite characters. Now, I keep looking for her to come back. I think that I would prefer to see all of the group back together again...except for Julia, maybe. She still gets on my nerves. Then again, Julia was not part of this timeline's Brakebill's group. So yeah, she can stay separate as far as I'm concerned. At the very least, it would be nice if Quentin returned to Margo and Elliot as you said.

Put 'Q' and Penny back w/ the fam. Better than that, put them back at school together. I miss Q stumbling about and Elliot and Margot being there to point it out. Too, I will really miss Beastie Martin Chatwin. Gone too soon for me. Hopefully they will cook up some new threats with Beastie being gone. He was both the highlight (and the horror)of it all. The Pixie and the White lady were an awesome touch; let us not forget props to Umber for polluting the well spring. Also I give major love to the forest witch for warning Quentin about the forest creatures.
