One day prior to the 765 Productions Fan Appreciation Event, Haruka, Miki, and Chihaya get lost and must quickly find a way to return to Tokyo.

This OVA was originally packaged with the limited edition release of Xbox 360 game THE iDOLM@STER: Live for You! and was eventually officially posted on Namco's Nico Nico Douga channel.

Presentado desde la perspectiva de un camarógrafo grabando un documental, este capitulo nos muestra las actividades de las 12 aspirantes a Idol de 765 (Namco) Production studios. Las entrevistas incluyen tanto al staff de 765 Production como a las chicas, describiendo los motivos del por que se convirtieron en Idols y cuáles son sus metas.

El presidente de 765 Production, Junjirou Takagi, revela una gran sorpresa.

Después de revisar las fotos de perfil actuales, el productor decide que se necesitan nuevas, así que se prepara una nueva sesión para que las chicas dejen una mejor impresión en sus audiciones. Las Idols más jóvenes, Iori, Yayoi, Ami y Mami buscan sobresalir del resto intentando parecer maduras, fracasando en el intento.

El productor y las chicas se dirigen al pueblo de Furusato para realizar un pequeño concierto en el festival de verano local, pero las cosas no suceden como lo esperaban. Tanto Yukiho como el productor deben enfrentar sus miedos.

Haruka hace equipo con Chihaya y Takane con Hibiki al aparecer en un programa de cocina de televisión por cable presentado por una marioneta de rana. Chihaya se molesta con el productor al enterarse que removieron el segmento de la canción. Después del programa, el productor comprende que no conoce bien a las chicas.

El productor accede a llevar a todas a la playa de vacaciones mientras reparan el aire acondicionado del estudio. Después del viaje, el presidente Takagi anuncia la aprobación de un nuevo proyecto.

La unidad Idol de Ritsuko, Ryuuguu Komachi, conformada por Azusa, Iori y Ami alcanza la popularidad después de su debut, por lo que las contratan para varios conciertos. Preocupado por la popularidad de las otras Idols, el productor decide que las chicas se presenten en varias audiciones, programando accidentalmente a Hibiki en un concierto mientas ella se encuentra en otro evento, por suerte, Miki puede reemplazar a Hibiki en el concierto. El productor comprende su error al entrar en pánico sobre la fama de las chicas y se disculpa con todas.

Iori se humilla en televisión en vivo cuando fuerza a un reportero a enfocarse en ella en lugar de preguntar sobre su padre o hermanos mayores mientras se encuentran en la casa Minase. El productor la regaña, pero Iori ignora su consejo. Mas tarde, Yayoi invita a Iori y Hibiki a comer a su casa con sus cinco hermanos menores, en donde Iori aprende sobre la vida de la gente “común” y conoce a Chousuke, hermano menor de Yayoi y el mayor de los niños, quien quiere ayudar a su hermana.

Azusa, Makoto y Miki modelan como novia, novio y dama de honor respectivamente para una revista de bodas. Mientras Azusa habla por teléfono, una novia fugitiva tropieza con ella, tirando su anillo de compromiso, Azusa lo recoge y es secuestrada por un grupo de guardaespaldas que la confunden con la novia fugitiva. Cuando los guardaespaldas se dan cuenta de que tienen a la persona equivocada, dejan que Azusa se vaya solo para enterarse después que ella tiene el anillo. Azusa ayuda a varias personas que encuentra mientras intenta encontrar su camino de vuelta.

After finishing filming a TV mystery mini-drama, Ryuuguu Komachi and Ritsuko return to 765 Production studios for a break with Mami and the Producer returning as well. Iori decides to treat everyone to some special puddings she bought earlier, but finds out the puddings are gone from the refrigerator. Suspecting the other idols as the culprits, Ami and Mami decide to solve the mystery by playing detectives.

The girls attend 'The Big Talent Agency Sports Competition' where idols groups from various agencies compete in games.

The Producer informs the girls that their big break has come as they will be performing live at a 765 Production thank-you concert. Despite its main event being Ryuuguu Komachi, the girls are excited since they will be performing a new song and dance routine. However, the girls have to go through tough dance and vocal lessons, which some of the girls are having problems doing correctly, especially since their exams are coming out.

As the day of the concert gets closer, the Producer and the idols are worrying about Miki, who hasn't come for practice sessions for the past few days, which Ritsuko explains as being caused by a misunderstanding over Ryuuguu Komachi.

It's the day of the 765 Production thank-you concert, but complications arise for Ritsuko and Ryuuguu Komachi when a typhoon hits the city. All transit trains are stopped, forcing Ritsuko and the others to drive to the concert, only to get into a traffic jam. With the audience already having arrived at the concert, the Producer issues a change of plans to the backstage crew and the idols to have them perform first to buy enough time for Ryuuguu Komachi to arrive.

Ever since the concert and an article by Yoshizawa, a famous reporter who is a friend of President Takagi, the idols have become very popular to the point of having to wear disguises in public.

The 765 Production idols star in a comedy/variety show called Are We Live? Sunday, hosted by Haruka, Chihaya and Miki.

As Chihaya has nightmares about her past, Hibiki has an argument with her dog, Inumi, as both of them are hosting an animal documentary show. Meanwhile, Kuroi plots to sabotage Hibiki's role as the presenter of the show.

Makoto is a hit with female fans due to her handsome and Prince-like looks. Although Makoto appreciates the fame, she wishes fans admire her as a girl and not a boy.

Ritsuko forces a hard dancing routine on Ryuuguu Komachi to prepare them for an upcoming secret concert, much to the group's displeasure. When Azusa is unable to perform, help comes from an unexpected source.

Kuroi hires paparazzi to follow and take pictures of Takane to find secrets about her since her background is a complete mystery, even to everyone at 765 Production studios.

Chihaya's tragic past is revealed in a magazine thanks to Kuroi. The magazine slanders her, suggesting Chihaya is heartless and Chihaya decides to leave 765 Production studios.

Thanks to a magazine interview by Yoshizawa with Chihaya over her past, the rumors about her have ended as she and the other idols prepare for the Idol Jam concert with Jupiter performing as well.

It is the Christmas season and Haruka wants to celebrate a Christmas Eve party with everyone at 765 Production, just like last year. But with the idols' new fame, all of the girls are busy attending and performing at TV shows, variety shows, holiday or Christmas specials on Christmas Eve. Most of them might not make it in time...

Haruka is looking forward to a dance rehearsal with everyone for their New Year's concert. However, the girls of 765 Production are too busy due to their schedules to do the rehearsal, slowly making Haruka lonely and depressed as she is unable to practice with her friends.

The Producer manages to survive his accident but remains hospitalized for a while. As a result, Haruka returns to musical rehearsals to channel her grief into her role and wins the lead from Miki. Desperate to get the idols together, Haruka asks Ritsuko to reschedule or cancel her current gigs so she can practice for the New Year's concert.

Kotori visits the Producer at the hospital. The Producer expresses his wish to see the idols at the New Year's concert.

A series of short, humorous vignettes showcasing some of the daily aspects of the staff and idols of 765 Production, such as a karaoke outing and a battle over rotating sushi.

This special was included with the 9th Blu-ray volume that was released on June 28, 2012 and it received a TV airing on June 17, 2012.

Haruka, Chihaya and Azusa with Ritsuko as their producer are chosen for the trip to Vacation Island, but they struggle to decide what sort of performance to give. Upon arriving at Vacation Island, they discover Jupiter is also participating in the festival.

The Producer brings Yayoi, Iori, Hibiki, Ami and Mami to the Vacation Island resort for a musical festival where they spend their first day playing around. The next day, Iori wakes up to find that her precious bunny, Charles, went missing during their day of relaxation.

Miki, Yukiho, Makoto and Takane are chosen for the trip to Vacation Island, with Miki deciding they should do a love song, despite the others lacking such experience in romance. Miki comes up with the idea to have each member have a 'date' with the Producer to learn more about love.
