Discuss DC's Legends of Tomorrow

I mean, come on. That was the worst part of the episode.

Damien Darhk is a former member of the League of Assassins. He is an expert combatant. Hell, those guys even train primarily with swords. Oliver could barely go toe to toe with Darhk and he is also a world class fighter. Ray beating him was awful writing. It was also out of character for Darhk to just assume he killed him with one shot and walk away instead of finishing the job.

Also, the Legends made a serious miscalculation not realizing Rip could summon and command Gideon. Would all of them truly goof up on that, or is it just a slip in the writing?

Not surprised, this is one of the worst TV series I've seen. I think I gave up after 10 or 12 episodes.

So...why are you here?

That was a serious, idiotic problem with the episode. There are cases when one of the heroes could make a miscalculation, but Ray attacking Damien Darhk was pure silliness.

Well he did have a huge advantage with the light saber.

rip summoning Gideon just made me think that they new he would do that and its some kink of set up by the team at least I hope so I really wouldn't like it if everyone of them was that stupid not to think rip could control Gideon.

I hope so, because in reality there is no way they all would have overlooked that.

I took it that the Atom suit was enhancing Ray. Not to mention that fighting with an English broad sword in plate armor might be a bit different than the style of fighting that Damien is more comfortable with from the League of Assassins. But I'm no expert.

I think it's so important in the writing that the smartest people on the ship be the smartest people on the ship. Ray doesn't have the skills--even in his atom suit--needed to hang with Damien, and as we saw, he ended up on his back--passed out. I think scurrying off to fight Damien jeopardized the entire team . We all know Sarah is the person to handle Damien.
