Amanda's Choice
The summer of 1929. The regulars from Copenhagen are back at Andersens Badehotel by the North Sea. Wholesaler Madsen's daughter Amanda is also arriving after a trip abroad, which was arranged by her parents to get her away from an unfortunate romantic connection. The maid Fie looks forward to Amanda's arrival with mixed feelings. The Grosserer daughter is the only one who can help Fie's boyfriend, Morten, free from the accusation that has kept him on the run for a year. But will she? And then two young men move into the hotel laden with a gramophone and jazz records in search of adventure.

In the penultimate episode, summer sings the last verse, and it has become the hour of truth for both guests and staff at the small hotel. It's getting harder and harder for Morten to hide from Fie what he's making a lot of money on. Helene Aurland has to decide if she should tell her husband that the child she is expecting is not his but actor Weyse's. And Amanda and Max make plans for how they can meet after the holidays until the truth hits them too. Only Mrs. Fjeldsø is completely certain– she has been let down by her son Adam, and it is irreparable.
