TWD will apparently wrap up the whole Negan\Savior story in the finale (neat trick but with Simon dead, if Negan dies there isn't a strong leader to take over so...) Seaosn 9 will have some of the same core characters but a whole new storyline.

Somewhere between all that Morgan makes his way to FTWD.

It's been out there for a while that there would be a crossover character. It was a big tease who it would be, and after several more weeks they announced it would be Morgan.

I doubt that. They'll probably leave us hanging on a cliffhanger (maybe Negan being captured?). And the whole spiel will most likely be dragged out for a couple more episodes in season 9.

Would not surprise me. In the comics, or so I have read about them, Negan is captured. Tho popular in the comics, the whole Negan saga has failed on TV. Ratings plummeted pretty much as soon as that story began. So for the TV version to kill him off and move on would also not be a surprise. Jeffery Dean Morgan is a fine actor but just miscast as the hulking Negan.

I like the idea that Nick from Fear the Walking Dead might be setting up the Whisperers, who are a massive band of wanderers who camouflage themselves in walker hides and roam the countryside among the dead.

Won't be happening that way now, unfortunately😥
