Based on Ruben Blades' brief dialogue, I think he could just be in Strand's head. I hope not, though. The show won't be the same without Travis, but Daniel's return would help it somewhat.

i believe dave erickson said he's alive. next episode will be daniel centric.

I thought he was a figment until the next scene they show him interacting with someone else. Very happy he is back.
