It's such a formularic tv show. Everything that I enjoyed about the first season like the fast paced plot and deadly zombies is now gone in season two. Yes the zombies looks terrifying but they are not. They are easily dispatched by the living. People always seem to get away and the living are scarier than the dead. If I wanted to watch a show about ruthless people I can pick several other genres. I don't need to see ones that happen to take place with disgusting looking zombies wandering aimlessly around and sometimes eat a red shirt character.

The main characters are quite unlikable. Hell, even the ones whom I like do ugly things, like torture people to get info from them. It's no TWD, for sure. And here's the biggest issue I have with it. Since they're basically done dealing with the element that they said would distinguish this show from TWD -- how the zombie apocalypse came to occur -- we now basically have two shows that do the same, exact thing now: The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.

Oh Salazar. You like him? I kind of like him too only because the actor does a great job making him likeable. Nick is my favorite character though. But he's not enough to make me really like this show. Although I wouldn't watch it without Nick in it. I just feel husseled. Like the marketing was a bait and switch. They tell us they would deliver one thing and then we got something different. The theme music suggests terror but the episodes are a soap opera even more so than The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead has some really interesting characters that are multifaceted. Fear just doesn't except for Nick and Salazar.

Yeah, I like Daniel; he's really my favorite one on the show. I've missed him. Nick is cool, except I didn't like it when he abandoned his family to live among the walkers. His logic didn't make sense enough to me.
Another thing I really dislike are the "Fear the Walking Dead" 3-minute snippets. They did that, I think, last year with the Asian chick, Alex, and then she up and disappeared. It felt like they set her up for nothing. They're doing something like that currently with a couple other chicks and the snippets again, and I'm just not interested now.

So Nick went crazy and lived with zombies? Lol
After episode 4 I started getting very bored with the formula. By the time something interesting happens, the show is over with. Now I just fast forward through all the talking unless it looks like something pivotal to the plot.

Oh man, I guess I spoiled part of it for you. My bad. Sorry about that.
I won't say anymore about that part of it. It's debatable as to whether he really went crazy or not, though. Ha.

No it's fine. I'm not an ass hole about spoilers when phrased the way you did. I look at it like gossip. There is a way to spoil without specific details. Besides that thing with Nick sounds like something interesting for me to look forward to. So he doesn't go crazy? He just like lives among them like The Whisperers from TWD comic? How bad ass.

So, do you watch TWD regularly?

Yeah I do. There were a couple of seasons where I got bored and let them build up before bingewatching the rest. This season I have been keeping up because I really wanted to see how they would portray Negan. Negan was a much needed relief from the boredom and absurdity that was season 6. With that stupid quarry situation Rick made worse. And how they botched Volume Life Among Them by focusing on Rick and Carol's paranoia. Rick acting creepy and Carol having a dual identity. Then having Rick and Michonne hook up. Abraham chasing after Sasha. I cannot believe that the show ruined what was my favorite volumes of the comic. Although Noah's gruesome death was AWESOME. I wish deaths like that would happen every episode. How could the creators even consider their show horror without it?
But so far Negan and The Saviors are okay. Ezekiel is cooler than he was in the comic. I have no idea what is going on with Carol now. She's always having an existential crisis. I'm bored with her antics now. I didn't even cry when Glenn died like I thought I would.
So does Salazar from FTWD, torture anymore people? I like his tactics.

I seem to recall Salazar toying with this poor guy who had been skewered in season 2.

Yeah I saw that. That guy deserved it. He was going to kill everyone. Daniel is like a surgeon. So cold and calculating. His character used to be a millitary general. Right? What else should I look forward to?

The biggest deal is that Nick gets recruited into a nice, little Mexican colony, meets a man who claims that a walker's bite didn't do squat to him, and gets himself a nice, feisty little Mexican girlfriend :-)
