Tex: man I cant believe they killed off Tex. It was rough enough not having the Doc (Rhona) to look this season and I was missing Tex with his one liners when finally he shows up, yaaay, only to kill him off, nooo.

I still get the feeling something is up with the doctor. They didn`t show her body on the ground after she was shot , and there was very little talk of the virus in season 3 . Could Chandler be hiding her somewhere after recovery to protect her?

The actress could have had another obligation to take care of, leaving it open to come back as you said, but those final comments between Tex and Chandler about not being there for her or forgiving themselves felt pretty final.
