Debate The Flash

Where was Plastic Man during Crisis? I kept hoping he would show up. My biggest complaint with these cross overs is every hero isn't utilized. I would have liked to see more of the Legends and Diggle.

The most idiotic thing was that they sent Wally away but kept Iris. WTF? Another speedster would have made a huge difference. I love Iris, her scenes with Felicity were fun and they were very cute playing the badass but come on! Realistically it was very dumb to send Wally away.

There were definitely some scenes where he would have been useful. Seeing an elongated arm and hand coming out of nowhere to yank away some Nazis would have been dynamite.

I don't know of they bench some of the second tier heroes to save money or because of a time crunch or both. I wish they'd go all in and add an extra episode to include everyone.

I agree. I'd like to see everyone, also. I experienced withdrawal last night, so an extra episode would have been very nice. I'm going to miss not having Arrow on tonight. That was a lot in a 26-hour span.

Even though Arrow lost a lot of it's appeal, after the first 2 seasons, I still like it. I think it has about run it's course. Being moved to Thursday nights and it doesn't air until 11pm, in my area.

Why not until 11:00?

Idk. They were showing high school football games, the news and then Arrow.

Of course either Flash or Supergirl could have taken out all of the Nazi soldiers in about 2 seconds making the big fight scene pointless. Also, why is Thawne even close to being a match for Barry? Doesn't Barry get faster every season? By this time he should be way faster than Thawne.

True. This reminds of a scene from last season on The Flash when they were in the café with a bunch of cops, and a speedster said he was going to kill every cop in there and there was nothing anyone could do, and he did just that in the blink of an eye. Was it Savatar? I can't remember. But the Flash could have done the same thing with the Nazis. I guess that wouldn't make for dramatic TV.

Plastic Man isn’t on any of the CW shows

Agreed regarding Flash & Reverse Flash. The CW verse is stupid that way. Oliver went through all of that training to be as strong as Ras Al Ghul a few seasons ago to the point where he easily dispatched Malcom Merlyn, who was an awesome fighter. And then the next few episodes he had difficulty defeating regular henchmen. Logically it makes no sense.

Exactly why I sometimes struggle tossing logic out the window while watching these shows to prevent an analytically-induced breakdown.

I was wondering about Plastic Man too! They left him out and focused on their "big guns". That kind of sucked that all of a sudden they forgot there was another hero or two (Wally too!) that could have helped. Kind of a shame!

A lot of the things the writers do makes no sense.

The "Plastic Man" comment by Barry was just a nod to Plastic Man because of the power similarities, BUT.. Dibney is not Plastic man on the show. Even in one of the recent episodes when he mentioned that he doesn't even have an official name yet. That said I am not so sure they will go with Elongated Man either, for obvious reasons...
