If Sisco's abilities don't make him evil why does Caitlin's to the point they have to talk her down (which won't always work)

I would find a way for Caitlin to use her abilities and be Caitlin Frost without her becoming evil. Like maybe look at the other Caitlins from the other alternative Earths to see maybe one of them was able not to become Killer Frost.
