I went to IMDb to post a link to this page, and they took them down a day early. They were probably so fed up with people complaining that they pulled the plug early just to be jerks. Their loss. I deleted my account that I had for 15 years. I have no use for that site anymore. This is my new home. I'm hoping for a lot of traffic here Tuesday after the first IMDb-less episode.

I went to look at a post a few mins ago and saw it was already taken down. Oh well. Glad I found this before they were gone

Glad you did, too. They pulled a fast one on us...a lot of people who thought they still had time to get organized and contact people got caught with their pants down. I wonder if they had a big party when they clicked to delete everything. Some people live for that power.
this is a pretty good site with lots of room to grow I imported my lists here from imdb and am making it my new home I'm sure many imdb users will be nesting here soon .
I just checked out moviechat.org. There are more postings there but most of them are old. I hope things here pick up. I understand that some people are just moving to FB but I have absolutely no desire to get an account.
I tried out some of the suggestions people were saying on IMDb message boards but this one looked the best. Most professional easily. I'd love to see the traffic data for this site for January and now this month.
It's a shame that thetvdb.com doesn't have forums associated with each show. Plex uses it (so therefore I do if I want the details to show up automatically on my server) and it's extensive. I wish we could merge this site and that one. :-)
I haven't thought of Trakt in years. I used to have a plugin for XBMC (I know it's Kodi now) and there was an unsupported one for Plex ages ago. Having the three combine would be a great idea. I suspect it will never happen though. :-(
Have you checked out hashed.io? Not much there either but it will be interesting to see if something comes of it.
I love Trakt for the fact I'm able to see the date and time of when I saw a certain movie and also how many times I've seen that movie. For example Hocus Pocus I've seen 4 times in the last 4 years, each time on October 31st. Maybe it's the OCD in me but I like to know little things like how many times I've seen a movie.

Me too. This site and MovieChat.org are the only ones who look like they can replace imdb.

nothing wrong with that though I'd probably be embarrassed by how many times I've watched certain movies and tv episodes!

I can't stand Facebook for this kind of thing. I'm old school and like sites dedicated to message boards like this.
