It is not easy for Olau to have a long-distance relationship and he tries to spice communication with her up with a little Skype-sex. Everyone is trying to tell Olau how to have Skype-sex with his girlfriend and it ends up being an overwhelming experience. Ane going to an important job interview, that ends up awkward when she meets an old flame who has not forgotten her. Mads decides to choose a godfather to his future child, but it is more difficult to choose between friends than he first thought and Øland will stop at nothing to get the title.

After having brewed coffee for half a year on the job, Ane gets herself an opportunity to show what she can do. Øland takes on Christmas tree shopping with Emil, but it turns out that they have very different opinions about Christmas. There is crunch in Olaus relationship with Rose and he calms the problems by taking advance on the Christmas beer. Under the influence Olau helps Mads get full view to their naughty opposite neighbors.

The friends goes to a cottage to celebrate New Year's Eve. Mads and Emil are disappointed by the lack of girls, but when Lærke shows up, a fierce battle begins for them to get her attention. Ane uses the special evening to tell Olau about her feelings, and gets a very unexpected reaction. Øland wants to celebrate the New Year with lots of firework, but it gets out of control and it becomes a New Year's Eve they will never forget. Especially Ane, who gets a surprise that turns her life upside down.

When Ane finally returns home from New York a big surprise is waiting in the apartment - a new girl moved into Ane's room! The boys just forgot to tell her. Mads wants to score the new girl Carla and goes too far in the attempt, but what he does not know is that she is far more interested in Olau. Ane and Olau is finding it hard to get a moment alone and are both in doubt about what the other want.

Ane have fled to Jung to recover from Olau, and Jung does everything he can to exploit the situation to his advantage. Emil has gotten his dream job at a gallery, but the owner suddenly requires that he exhibits himself to get the job. Carla reveals to Mads that Ane and Olau have been together, causing Mads to go crazy on his best friend.

Ane and Olau are now lovers and is having a romantic dinner for two, but it's hard to be romantic when Øland has invited himself to join. Mads is disappointed that Olau prioritises girlfriend over a badminton match and have to instead play with Emil, which ends up making them fuming enemies. Ane is back at work and being pressured by Jung to kiss the new lesbian assistant.

Ane and Olau is suddenly in doubt if Ane is pregnant, which sets in motion an argument whether they should be together. Øland is very excited about the possibility of parenthood, and goes in search of baby stuff.

Emil is distraught because he has not heard from Thea for several days. As encouragement Mads offers Emil to be part of a triangle with Mads and his hot date. But first, the rules just has to be in place!
