Seriously? I've seen creepier.

The only thing that creeped me out was that wig!! Honestly Mr Quinlan is much sexier without the human makeup. My concern was that they sort of portrayed him as sexually naïve. I'm sure in his long life, hes had plenty of experience with woman. Esp when he was the champion of the gladiator games.
Being a Alpha male is quite attractive to a lot of women, regardless of looks etc. Of course its never been addressed whether he has the correct 'plumbing', as Eph calls it. We only have that one episode when he was lying on the table and Eph covered him up, to go on. Yes, I've read the books, but they've totally changed his character for the series.

I do find Quilan to be sexy as his Quinlan character. Sexy, poised, mysterious, etc.

The makeup to allow him to look human didn't work for me.

I do believe he's got all the right plumbing as he is a hybrid born to a human mother. However, I don't believe he had any sexual experience with a woman. At least not until perhaps an encounter with that woman to whom he clearly had love for...including her daughter.

Prior to that and since then, I think Quinlin looks at love or deep affection towards someone as a distraction to his mission to kill the master.

I def think you're right about him seeing love and affection as a distraction, but only after The Master killed that woman and daughter. The look he gave Dutch when he first met her was very much "mmmm I like the look of you" as if he appreciated good looking women. I think hes had his fair share in the past, and he didn't seem to be actively seeking the master in Rome whilst being a gladiator. And as I've already said, I think being the Champion would mean lots of women throwing them selves at him. I think he only renewed his mission after The Master killed his 'family'. But unless they address it in the final few episodes, we'll never know.

Sorry but his strigoi parts are just so gross. Getting anywhere near that thing is unthinkable to me, at least. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like him, but come on.

I so remember that episode with Dutch and "the look" you just referenced. It was the first time that I got the inclination that there is a real man under all that exterior that can appreciate a woman sexually.

I disagree about him not actively seeking. I think he is always seeking. When in Rome, I believe he was "lying in wait". Pretty much the same way that a gator lies and wait for its prey to come along and present itself so it can strike.

Remember Quinlan found the master at the bath house or brothel draining someone. It wasn't until after he failed to kill the master that the master threatened his new found love and her daughter. Don't forget that Quinlan was preparing to leave to continue his hunt and the woman wanted him to remain there with her and her child.

I think of an elephant's trunk whenever I see that. There's no fear factor at all. No gross factor for me either.
