Ya, I find it very overrated. Especially these single story episode shows shouldn't be rated altogether. One episode could be good while the next one is shit.

The first episode of the show(the one with the pig.....) is easily the worst of the entire show. The good thing with this show is that you don't need to watch them in order. See White Christmas, San Junipero or Hang the DJ instead. Those are my favorite three.

Watch 'Hang the DJ or 'Nosedive', most episodes are pretty dark and provocative but not in the same explicit way as the first episode, which is one of the weakest.

The first episode is the one where the PM has to bang a pig? Yeah, that one was terrible. There are some good gems though.

Totally agree. The pig one was awful. I turned it off about half way through.. Couldn't take any more.

The pig sex episode is a great episodes. Before season 3, Black Mirror was aimed entirely at a British audience and he first episode of season 1 is definitely one of the most British episodes. If it was princess Diana and realistically the government thought the only way to save her was for the replaceable prime minister to bang a pig? I think Tony Blair should have had to duck a pig live on national TV.

I'm torn... not a fan of Diana, but so many duff PMs to choose from. Anyway, there's already stories about Cameron and pigs - surely he'd be a better pick?

Back on topic, I was almost physically stunned by The National Anthem (the pig ep), 15 Million Merits and White Bear but 5 eps into S3 the only one I've really "enjoyed" has been San Junipero.
