Not to be a negative nancy here (no offense to Nancys), but I found this episode under par too. I'm starting to think it is me. Historically I have just loved this series.
Anyway, did anyone else find it annoying that for all the "modern" tech, facial recognition, etc the insurance investigator is carrying around a 1980's Mac-looking CRT scanning device? OK, I know it wasn't a true CRT, but how much better might it have been in fitting with the Black Mirror aesthetic to have a slick little device that she could pull out and lay down in front of people? It just seemed like a silly choice.
Other than that, pacing for the episode dragged, and then ultimately resolved without satisfactorily exploring what must have been their point: that to get away with something in a "legal access to every person's memory" future state, you have to dispose of every person who might have seen, heard, smelled or known of your indiscretion. Since this was so vaguely and clumsily explored, the 'twist' at the end was mediocre at best. And what the heck was up with the lozenge/coffee obsession/shots?

Some of the more ruggedised versions of technology have that retro look.. Look at the laptops that people take into extreme conditions, they don't look like macbook air... Maybe it is a retro look in the future from a fashion point of view?
it didn't bother me that much, but i do see your point...

Well, at least we know she didn't get away with it.
