San Junipero: which era? (Poss spoilers)

Just wondering: which era would you pick for your first visit to San Junipero?
I'd go for the early 1980s. It was one of the best times of my life...before I hit my 'teens, I had no major health problems as I do now, and I was still very happy in school. Plus the TV shows, films, music and fashions of that era still resonate with me.

Have to be the golden 80s too. Imagine one day you'd be able to go into the future and experience a time you were never physically alive.
