Do you have an official proof that this episode have been broadcasted as a special episode ? The page you link list this episode as part of season 3.

the page say: This is the first half-hour special of season 3.
tvdb report is as special.. other link are difficult to find

An episode is either a special or a part of a regular season. A "special of season 3" doesn't mean anything.
Each site has its own set of rules, so it is not because TVDB list this episode as a special that it should be listed as a special here.
