the page says:
This episode is the third and last half-hour special of season 3. The first is "Party Pooper Pants" and the second is "Ugh."
However, this is the second half-hour special of season 3 in American airing order, after "Party Pooper Pants" in 2002 and before "Ugh" in 2004.
This is not the description that made an episode a "special" or not.
If the episode was numbered in the season when it was first broadcasted, this is a regular episode.
This is the reason why we need proof on how the episode was originally broadcasted. All the links you give above aren't talking of the original broadcast.

These 2 pages say that this is an episode of the 3rd season. This can't be at the same time a special and an episode of the 3rd season.

but all episode I'm reporting are actual specials checking the descriptions.. tvdb too report all as specials..
I'm searching like a fool, but the "special" episode argument is very difficult to find.. try this: https://www.cinemablend.com/television/2563227/the-best-spongebob-squarepants-specials-ranked https://www.imdb.com/list/ls066657759/ https://screenrant.com/spongebob-squarepants-movies-specials-ranked/ https://itunes.apple.com/gb/tv-season/spongebob-squarepants-specials-collection-vol-1/id339191416
here's various sites talking about or listing the specials. can we talk here for all the report I've done?
