Luffy and Coby arrive at Shell Island, a Marine base. They meet the bounty hunter Roronoa Zoro, held under arrest by the infamous marine, Captain Morgan, and his son Helmeppo.

Luffy convinces Zoro to join his crew, but they must first defeat Captain Morgan. After freeing the island from Morgan's oppressive rule, Coby is accepted as a marine while the other two continue on their journey.

Zoro remembers the first time he met Luffy, and Usopp recalls the events that led him to join the Straw Hats!

Navy Captain Koby comes to the Island of Women to arrest Pirate Empress Hancock with the new Pacifistas. While the Navy and Kuja fighters clash, Blackbeard comes to raid, also targeting Hancock.

Luffy and Chopper fall into the rough cold sea along with the mysterious girl. Jimbei tries to help them but another attack comes from the unknown creature. Meanwhile, the Sunny is hit by torpedoes and the rest of the Straw Hats are thrown into the sea, too.

CP-0 enters the Labophase and starts attacking the Thousand Sunny as soon as they find it. Luffy reunites with Nami and the others but finds out that Vegapunk is missing. Meanwhile, Bonney is pressing Vegapunk to change back her father Kuma.

A massive warship comes flying towards the Pirate Island of Beehive and Vice Admiral Garp launches a crushing attack on top of it to save his pupil Koby. Koby almost reaches the ship with Navy HQ Commander Hibari running by his side.

Kuzan, a former Navy Admiral, stands in the way of Garp who came to rescue Koby. He was once Garp’s pupil but is now a member of the Blackbeard Pirates. What happened to him after he was defeated by Sakazuki is now revealed.

At the Pirate Island of Beehive, Vice Admiral Garp, who came to rescue the kidnapped Koby, deals with an overwhelming number of pirates alone. As he and his fellow Navy soldiers try to escape the island, Kuzan, the former Navy admiral, stands in their way.

Avalo Pizarro, who merged with the Pirate Island, reaches his giant hand to crush the Navy ship with many soldiers and civilians on board. The wounded Garp gives orders to Koby, Helmeppo, and Prince Grus, and delivers a powerful blow to save the ship.
