Yuji is a young university student who has just moved into an apartment and is charmed by his neighbor Akemi. However, Akemi starts being stalked by Misa, who wears a black cloak. Yuji then risks his life to defend his neighbor, but she is hiding a secret.

After losing her best friend Kyoko, Hitomi finds herself desperate and aimless and considers attempting to summon the spirit of her deceased friend so she can finally say goodbye. However, when she gets the chance to bid farewell, she cannot let go of the past and tries to keep her friend alive.

After a night of nightmares, Misa remembers her father and mother, who sacrificed themselves so that she could learn what she knows about magic.
