Alex and his partner Anna are waiting their first child and will be moving into Alex's old childhood home in Saltsjöbaden. But it is not long before they encounter problems in the form of Alex's mother, Margareta, who has difficulty releasing her old home. Alex gets good advice on how important it is with the view of his neighbor and childhood friend Fredde.

Alex suspects that Anna has been cheating with the actor Ola Rapace and that he can be the father of the child. Fredde gets the craze for grilling which goes so far that Mickan invites him to seek help for his abuse.

Alex and Anna have been told the sex of their child and have great problems with agreeing names. The case doesn't get any easier when Margaretha settles in. Fredde thinks he can change diapers more often than Mickan. An old childhood friend of Alex appears and wants to resume contact, something Alex does not want.

Alex and Anna start to get tired of their superficial friendship that only speaks of material things. But when they spend an evening with some new friends, they realize that intellectual snobbism can be just as hard to listen to. Fredde gets problems with the tax authorities but finds a way to solve it. The girl suffers from stress symptoms that she tries to turn to her advantage.

Fredde becomes jealous of Mickan's friendship with a fatherless Italian and decides to give up again. But his plan goes off when it turns out that Mickan is not the jealous type. Anna's bohemian brother Palle comes to visit, which ends with Alex once again getting caught in the interests of different parties.

Midsummer Eve approaches and Fredde and Alex plan to celebrate with their families and friends in the archipelago. To Alex, the charmer Palle manages to be invited and, to top it all, even the poor-Ove has nailed an invitation. Hardly you have sung the first nub of the show before the left and intrigue are running.

In the last part of Solsidan, it is finally time for Alex and Anna to become parents. Alex does his utmost to help in the hospital but quickly realizes that Anna's requirements and needs are not so easy to satisfy.

Alex has decided to free Anna. But it will not be easy to find the right opportunity, in the middle of an unplanned move and with a baby that does not sleep at night.

Alex and Anna have craftsmen at home and are forced to live with Alex's mother Margareta over the weekend. Margareta reveals that she met a new man, Tord Malmberg, the disgusting neighbor from childhood. Alex now has to deal with the mother's new love with everything it means.

Annette and Ove travel away and Alex and Anna have to take care of their nymphs kit that Ove had since he was little.

Some worrying bumps allow Fredde to believe that he has got cancer and Mickan starts to engage in volunteers for the vulnerable in society.

Fredde and Mickan can visit by the cousin Linn and her husband Göran and Fredde's patience are put to the test. Alex will go to Ikea and get unwanted company by Ove. Anna is struggling to get rid of her maternity ward before a trial film.

The girl goes away with the kids over the weekend, which means that Fredde gets a crisis and tests the single life with her younger cousin. Anna and Alex are visited by Anna's parents who do everything possible to prepare for the wedding preparations. Ove makes 40-year-olds and forces Alex to talk.

Anna and Alex's wedding are approaching, which seems to end in disaster. Anna gets into a conflict with her future mother-in-law regarding a bridal veil. Fredde gets Mickan to go to the roof when he outsource the filming and Ove and Anette settle in the table placement.

When Alex and Anna move in their new house, they discover that there are a lot of renovations left. When Fredde gets to know that Victor's knowledge of nuclear materials that mathematics is not so good decides to grab the matter. Mickan moves into Grand Hotel when it turns out that lice rage in Victor's school.

Anna and Alex are getting mad at the renovation chaos at home and when Jonas suggests that they go into therapy they realize that it is not such a stupid suggestion. Fredde is forced, against his will, to drive Anette to her job every day and Ove begins to question Fredde's intentions with his wife.

Alex and Anna have it hard financially and Alex tries to get Anna to start working again. The girl starts family research with the hope of finding a relative from the upper class. Ove is being consumed by his jealousy against Fredde.

Fredde offers a new colleague, who is temporarily homeless, to move in with him and Mickan. Anna and Alex have realized that Jonas will never get ready with their kitchen and decide to hire a new craftsman. The girl longs for a child but Fredde thinks it is enough for two.

Anna tries to get Alex to activate. Ove's jealousy of Anette's carriage with Fredde to work is becoming increasingly apparent. Lussan has met a new man and everyone is wondering what she sees with him because he is neither good looking nor rich.

Alex and Anna ask Jonas to come back to clear the kitchen. When Alex cannot explain why they threw him out of the way, it leads to a tangle of misunderstandings. The girl gets a problem when she is going to invite her environmentally conscious friends to dinner and whatever she does is wrong.
