I’ve known Grant’s stepfather since before Grant was born. We don't live in a small town but it’s certainly not a big city, either. He owns a large furniture store and I run several apartment complexes. Both of us are in the Chamber of Commerce and we have a deal for me to buy showroom samples for my furnished units.

Moving out of my parents house has been “the best of times and the worst of times, as they say.” I’m not some socially dysfunctional basement dwelling moocher but I was comfortable at home. I know my mother is not eager to see me leave the nest, and my stepfather has never put any pressure on me. I think he’s indulging my mother, like he always does, but I don’t think he really minds, either.

Mr. Stryker was a busy man, what with a growing business and all. First, it was just one property, but he has expanded and maintains even more now. The clientele he was attracting did wonders in terms of promoting his business by word of mouth, so much so that he hasn’t had many issues in terms of finding people to rent to. There was one type of customer that Stryker was particularly fond of however, the younger petit sized lads running around that winked back at him from time to time.

Feelings can evolve in the strangest of ways. Mr. Stryker, a landlord with many bed and breakfast properties is always busy tending to the needs of each one. He is also quite gifted at attracting young gay men to rent his properties. Of his many tenants, Grant is one that he has known since he was young as he and Grant’s stepfather are friends. But with Grant something was different, an attraction. As things progressed in the leasing process, Mr. Stryker and Grant got to know each other in the most intimate of ways. Grant decided to lease the room realizing he is developing a crush for the big muscular owner and Mr. Stryker was happy, very happy with his decision..
