The manager of the school's volleyball team Qiu Zi Xuan and his friend and captain He Cheng Hen try to recruit newly-transferred freshman student Xia Yu Hao after discovering his effortless high jump. Regardless of his countless refusals, their desperate insistence of making it to nationals on their last school year end up successful after their coach and Xia Yu Hao's homeroom teacher orders him to join the team.

Yu Hao takes interest in Zi Xuan after he shields him from some thugs who were attacking him and discovers Zi Xuan's injury is much serious than he previously thought. As Yu Hao realizes what exactly his feelings for Zi Xuan are, he's unable to hold them back and coffess them to him. Meanwhile, the volleyball team prepares for their friendly match against the Renhe High School.

Chen Jia Jun is switched with Yu Hao after he burst against the twins. Yu Hao and Zi Xuan agree that he will think about Yu Hao's confession if they win the match. Yu Hao gets injured and is forced to withdraw from the field.

Zi Xuan is still avoiding Yu Hao. Unlucky to him, Qian Ru asks him to set her up with Yu Hao so she can confess to him. Zi Xuan finds himself at a crossroads, trying not to hurt any of the two people he loves the most and failing both of them.
