The entrance collapses mid-battle with Locke and Lode, leaving Trixie and Eli stuck in an old, abandoned cavern with only one way out. Now they’ll have to cross the entire thing without the help of their mechas and most of their arsenal of slugs.

Thinking they’re alone, Eli and Trixie are shocked when Locke and Lode ambush them as they make their way to the distant cavern exit. With only a few slugs between them our heroes will have to use everything they can to escape from the thugs, who have more ammo - and know it.

Having just escaped from the better equipped Locke and Lode, Eli and Trixie are on the run – unfortunately they’re running straight toward a spike-filled gorge! A last gasp shot saves them from falling to their doom, but leaves Eli and Trixie hanging.

Pronto has discovered a system of underground tunnels in the cavern Eli and Trixie are trapped in. It could be the perfect escape, but they’ll have to go through Locke and Lode first.

Eli and Trixie struggle to work their way through the old transport tunnels, battling rockslides and impassible pathways leading to deadly falls. But a new slug friend – Uni - could be the key to finding a safe path.

Desperate to get Burpy’s powers back Eli has been ceaselessly training with the little slug, firing him over and over with the hope he’ll finally transform. Now exhausted and disheartened, he’s starting to wonder if his best friend will ever battle with him again?

With their enemies trapped, Eli and Trixie are home free with their mechas and the rest of their slugs waiting for them at the cavern entrance. But the battle’s not over yet! With only a few of their slugs powered back up, will it be enough to get them home?
