Extra Details: I cannot adds episode to Mushi-Shi Specials, even though the series appears to be unlocked. There is no add episode button when editing the season.

It's not allowed in the Specials section. It was screened in theaters, so you can find it in the movie section: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/312966.
