Soebatskloof is buzzing after Octavia's claim that she bought some of the farm's land from Marcel. Veronique has to decide whose side she will be taking as the war of ownership ensues.

Veronique cleverly plays her hand to force Hermien into telling the truth. The news of Shireen's behaviour, the day before, travels and pushes Nenna to take matters in hand.

Hermien takes a break from her family and Soebatskloof. Mercy's 21st is a roaring success. But when things seem too good to be true, they usually are.

Octavia is elated about Hermien leaving. Veronique finds out who spiked the punch at the party and someone gets arrested. Veronique asks Elroy to put her plan in motion.

Marcel's arrival has the entire Marais family on their toes. Joey and Octavia are at war with one another, while Debbie-Lee and Tjoppie share an uncomfortable moment.

Debbie-Lee and Shireen are also at war, Phillip thinks his relationship is on the rocks, Edmund prepares for the worst and Veronique must act quickly, before the DNA test is done.

Marcel becomes used to living in luxury and enjoys the perks of freeloading. Debbie-Lee feels awkward after dreaming of kissing Tjoppie. Junior demands to know why Octavia changed their game-plan.

Panic and concern reign when Sandy discovers that Debbie-Lee is missing. Nenna's shocking confession about what happened to Marcel 30 years ago, takes an unexpected turn.

The entire Marais household is in chaos when Veronique goes missing and Annette wants to share a secret. Debbie-Lee's guilt is eating her up, while Phillip makes a shocking discovery.

Du Toit's arrival creates chaos, as the police and workers struggle to control the media. Du Toit drops a couple of bombs on Annette and the Marais family makes an unexpected appearance.

Shireen makes a drastic decision after she has had enough of Edmund’s emotional behavior – and her decision stuns Edmund. Jason is not entirely sure whether he will be telling his dad who he'll be taking to the matric farewell. The puzzle pieces are falling into place for Veronique and she decides to show Octavia her trump card – as well as what it will cost Octavia to make the trump card disappear.

Phillip eventually shows Mercy her matric farewell dress, while Edmund does everything in his power to solve the problems that are slowly killing Soebatskloof. Veronique realises that her plans will not just break Edmund. Sandy doesn’t handle Junior’s news very well, while Hermien shows up to support him. Shireen words her fears – and expresses them towards Alison. Jason wants to work on his relationship with Spook.

The partygoers are blissfully unaware of the dark cloud forming over Soebatskloof - until they hear the sirens. Veronique does what any mother would do: she takes charge of CJ’s future – she needs to find out if any words were spoken that could contradict her plan. Spook arrests the guilty party, while everyone else from Soebatskloof congregates at the hospital to hear the latest developments.

A waterpipe bursts and Soebatskloof also now has to deal with a water crisis on top of the ongoing power outage. CJ doesn’t want to be friends with Jason anymore - and then does the unthinkable. Junior is deeply disappointed in Octavia, and makes a decision regarding her place in his life. Veronique introduces Edmund to a potential investor: Anton Havenga.

It is time to say goodbye during the memorial service, but CJ refuses to go. Junior is starting to rely on Hermien for support - a lot. Hermien speaks to Shireen about Junior, and they both agree on what they think Junior needs. Jason makes his heartfelt words count, while Elroy has prepared a beautiful story on why he will be absent from the memorial service.
