The workers are very upset when they are informed of the possible sale of the wine farm. They decide on a course of action. Edmund is starting to see that his world is not as safe or simple as he had hoped.

Soebatskloof is in shock after the freak accident. Even Veronique is sad. Staff and family members watch while the police and paramedics do their work.

The farm is in mourning. Tjoppie tries to motivate and reassure the workers, and Veronique's ambition is evident. Junior arrives from London and feels out of place following his previous visit and argument with Charl Snr.

Veronique discovers something about Elroy, and decides to confront him about it – but, unfortunately, they are not alone during their standoff.

A waterpipe bursts and Soebatskloof also now has to deal with a water crisis on top of the ongoing power outage. CJ doesn’t want to be friends with Jason anymore - and then does the unthinkable. Junior is deeply disappointed in Octavia, and makes a decision regarding her place in his life. Veronique introduces Edmund to a potential investor: Anton Havenga.
