A chance encounter with Thomas puts Ananya in the doldrums. Eunice confronts Matthew about his snooping around GFPH only to be stunned by Matthew’s revelation. Despite pleadings from the Hassans, Syirah moves out with Khaled, causing Adina to sink into depression.

Zara and Rosnani scramble to buy the restaurant back. Ananya is shocked when Kenneth reveals his plan to stay in Perth with the children. Meanwhile, Steven starts to get more attached to the Lohs.

Zara gets accepted by the university in Australia, but she is in two minds. Syirah gets into an accident as she struggles with handling Khaled alone. Ananya mulls over the life choices she has after Kenneth’s remark about her being married to her job.

Ella’s feelings for Dr Shen intensify as the two continue their burgeoning romance. Rosnani embraces the opportunity to help look after Khaled but Adina tries to keep her at arm’s length. Steven tries to advice Ah Hock against working with James.

Derek meets up with Celia to convince her to make peace with Jessica. Ananya finally plucks up the courage to read a blog post Deanna made about her. In an effort to cheer Zaryf up, Sonya plans a day out for the two of them.

Ella is devastated after Dr Shen’s surprise revelation, and the Lohs rally around her to cheer her up. Rosnani is forced to make an uncomfortable decision involving the Hassans. Steven and Derek face off, but will Steven be able to pull off his audacious plan ?

There is still no sign of Steven and Matthew has to break the bad news to Ah Yoke. Ananya surprises Kenneth with news that she wants to go with the family to Perth.

James is being pushed to the edge with Eunice's manipulation. Ananya hands in her resignation at Shelley Holdings as she prepares to leave for Perth. Meanwhile, Jessica and May Wan put aside their differences for their daughters' sake

Ah Yoke, who has been away, comes home armed with an overseas business degree and an attitude. The Hassans learn to their horror that Syirah may want to take Khaled back. While Kenneth is given an ultimatum by Louis to return to Singapore for good or he will let his company to go bust.

James and Emily have to intervene when Louis threatens to wreck Celia's wedding plans. Handsome gets a job offer but May Wan is not keen on him taking it up. Rosnani has a showdown with Syirah while the rift between Adina and Zara grows bigger.

Furious with Kenneth's decision to resettle in Singapore, a rebellious Nina starts acting up. Handsome, fearing he could lose his new job, hides a secret from everyone. Matthew tries to draw the old Ah Yoke out but it backfires.

Zaryf learns a lesson about keeping a professional distance from his patients. May Wan takes drastic action after finding out about Handsome's work accident. Meanwhile, Ah Yoke and Dr Shen announce their engagement

Tension between Ah Yoke and Dr Shen arises over the vandalism incident. Syirah bumps into Khaled and she couldn't recognise him. Matthew is being accused of bribery and is suspended from carrying out his duties.

Adina feels threatened when Rosnani agreed to let Syirah meet up with Khaled. Eunice tries to help Matthew with his case, only to make things worse. Ah Yoke struggles to keep her cool in front of Syirah, whom she thinks is having an affair with Dr Shen.

When Syirah decides to meet up with Khaled on a more regular basis, Rosnani makes a bold request. Ah Hock is charmed by Maxine, and grows increasingly envious of the bond that James, Emily and Maxine share. Khaled is disruptive at school and Adina blames his behaviour on Rosnani.

Emily takes Jessica's advice and tries to keep Ah Hock away from Maxine. When the restaurant has been bumped back up to an A grade, Adina thinks the credit should go to Illya instead of Rosnani

Unwilling to let Ah Yoke in on his secret, Syirah tricks Dr Shen into revealing the truth. When faced with the reality of Dr Shen's situation, Ah Yoke doesn't know whether to stay or to leave.

Zara and Razali make up with Adina, only to have Farzeena reveal Zara's callous behaviour in Australia. Ah Hock tries to get close to Maxine and ingratiate himself with James. Dr Shen, meanwhile, decides to quit his job

Ah Hock tries to network with an industry hot shot and gets burned. Ah Yoke meets Shen Yang for the very first time. Ella is excited about a new client, but is annoyed when she finds out who he is

Ah Yoke tries to find ways to keep track of Shen Yang, but she knows it is futile. Ah Hock realises he needs James' help to network with big clients while Matthew is double-crossed by his informant.
