Molly finds employment as a stable girl at Heddesta, a riding school near Gothenburg. Initially enchanted by the setting, she soon uncovers unsettling secrets within its premises.

When Tommy makes sexual advances towards one of Molly's students, she decides to leave Heddesta. She's unsure whether to report him to the police or just try to put it all behind her.

Tommy gets arrested for sexually assaulting Molly and three other girls who work at the stable. Frida, Molly's best friend, stays at Heddesta and is pressured by Tommy to testify on his behalf.

A new witness will determine the outcome of Tommy's case. Two years later, Molly is in high school and has left Heddesta behind. Suddenly she receives a call from a journalist.
