Maddie confronts Mr. Martin, who flees. Janet, in Maddie's body, returns to her family's now dilapidated farmhouse, triggering memories. A conflicted Simon struggles with his desire to help Maddie and protect his own grasp on reality.

Fugitive Janet is haunted by her past as the ghost group continues searching for Mr. Martin inside Split River High. Simon tells the living kids about Janet's body-snatching.
