In S2 ep 5, Starbuck said her plan was to "Blow the brain" of the heavy raider after destroying the cylon guards. By the way, do cylon skin jobs have a living, not artificial, intelligence? They are not human, but are they alive?

Yup if you've made it to Season 2 Ep 15 by now ("Scar"), it's about how 1 particular raider seems to be acting with a personality, more cunning & vengeful than the other raiders. I think there's a dialogue where they say, or imply, that all raiders are autonomous like trained animals with a brain and the ability to learn & remember, though some on a less developed scale than others.
As for skin jobs, I haven't finished the whole series (currently on season 3 for the last 10+ years so no spoilers please lol), but I think it's implied that they have living biological intelligence, maybe even at a level higher than humans because skinjobs retain knowledge after death/reincarnation. This is why cylons believe they are superior to humans (and rightly so?) because their consciousness transcends death and extends into spiritual territory.
