It's too soon to really speculate on how The Return will wrap things up in the weeks ahead....however with each episode we get closer to the end of the season, and yet new characters, questions, mysteries and motives are continually introduced! One of the best aspects of this season is how much I enjoy re-watching each episode, multiple times over ! I pick up on things I missed the first and even second time around. Even if by the end none of it " makes sense" (with Lynch I have to use that phrase lightly ) I won't mind, because the ride has been so so fun! I love that nothing is spoon fed to the audience and so we can make theories and debate and make connections on our own based on the evidence we have. Someone in another thread mentioned The Leftovers finale lacking answers (paraphrasing), but I thought it was the perfect balance between giving a possible -but not definite - explanation. For me at least, it was open ended enough to be interpreted different ways, but not so open ended as a cliffhanger or no explanation whatsoever. So my point with the leftovers is I'd like to see that type of "ending" for Twin Peals The Return :)
