Was "bad" Coop testing Diane? Or was it a message that meant something else?

Dirty Coops message referenced the room above the convenience store ... a possible entrance to the black lodge ... seen in FWWM. Diane's (alleged) response tipped Dirty Coop off on FBI finding Hastings and finding out about his blog/work/interaction with Briggs

I don't know where they are going with this but I'm still enjoying this ride. Judging by that slow shot with Tammy and Laura screaming in pain at Cole that it's obvious she's trying to warn Cole that he's going to be facing some kind of danger most likely from a trusted source.

Also, I always imagined Diane as being some middle aged old lady with kittens and grandchildren attending to the needs of Cooper. Not....Laura Dern.

Simian_Ninja, please remind me who Cole is? And when did Tammy scream in pain?

I pictured Diane as being professional in appearance and demeanor....wearing a business suit, hair neat. Definitely not Laura Dern!!

MIDDLE AGE and OLD AGE aren't the same thing.

OLD AGE usually begins when one hits their MID 60's.

MIDDLE AGED is usually from around age 30 to the MID 60'S.

What I meant was...I just had this picture of this woman with large grey hair who wears a little blue sweater and knits sweaters for her grandkids (and possibly for Coop and other agents that she likes) and probably has a special cat at home. I don't know why, but I always just pictured Diane like that.

Definetly did not see her as Laura Dern, Demi Moore and anybody else that is...hawt.

Going a bit OT here but yeah it's a bit of both. My grandmother on my mother's side who lived to be 89 had very few wrinkles up until her last years. My mom who's 65 has none and neither do I. I've got some grey hair but I dye it dark purple 😊 tips, well I drink buckets of water, I've never overexposed myself to sunlight and I've never used excessive makeup, only eyeliner and mascara. I'm not a very healthy person, but I make sure I sleep ok and have fun. I think that overthinking being healthy can have the opposite effect if that makes sense.

On the news they showed a 90 something year old Buddhist monk who also had no wrinkles because he'd mostly spend his life living inside of a cave area where there was no sunlight.

What kind of health issues do you have. One problem that can arise from a lack of sunlight is osteoporosis or brittle bones (from not getting enough Vitamin D).

While shopping for tiles a couple of days ago the girl at the check out counter had dyed her hair a darker or medium BRIGHT BLUE color which also looked very nice and she was also complimented for it.

Bet your DARK PURPLE also looks great as well.

Anyhow, it will also be interesting to see if AGENT TP is setting up DIANE or not.

No health problems other than bad knees from playing soccer. I don't even get the flue, cold or stomach. I was depressed both times when the kids flew the nest 😊

About Cooper and Diane, did we agree on that it was Evil Coop that saw her that last time in her house? Because I remember me saying I thought not. That kind of rules out - for me - that it's him writing her.

I did go to that link, There was absolutely NOTHING mentioned about DIANE's going to KILL COLE.

I didn't like their review AT ALL. TOO much talking about nothing and harping on the episodes title.

I do agree with the Mandy woman saying that EVILCOOP was shown in that photo standing OUTSIDE the camera box- NOT inside, and on wondering if Becky's dad is Bobby.

I have a hard time believing it's not the "real" Diane, the way she acts isn't characteristic for someone who's possessed or a doppelganger. If so, they have done one hell of a job copying her persona. I think the Diane we're seeing is exactly who she is, the bitter middle aged lady who probably hasn't recovered from her broken heart since that night with Cooper. Telling everyone to eff off and not letting anyone in. She was very reluctant to come with them to see Cooper.

Why Gordon felt that something was off when he hugged her could have been because of the text, she might have had her eyes on Tammy for some time and is planning to test her, OR it actually WAS from Evil Cooper and she is setting up a trap for him because she knows who he really is. What if, that night at her house, Copper told Diane what to do if she ever would encounter BOB?
