and if he was created by evil Cooper just as a vessel to inhabit so he can stay here for the switch, then evil Cooper perhaps doesn't have the power to create a good brain before he can inhabit the body? or there was no need for a good brain because he thought he would be eventually possessing the body?

but...I just thought, wasn't Dougie talking/acting okay before the prostitute went into the bathroom? She was another one who also acted as if she thought he was acting different/something was wrong with him but she didn't really give a damn.

Yes he was. He seemed a little dopey but nothing out of the ordinary. Well, she at least mentioned something like perhaps he had a stroke and to call for help. She didn't exactly want to explain to the whoever that one of her johns had a stroke. Embarrassing for Dougie and bad business for her.
