The sun rises over Twin Peaks. Agent Cooper's car pulls up. Dale Cooper exits the car and looks around, taking in his environment. Its familiarity reassures him. He smiles and says to himself:

"Some things never change."

He sees his reflection in the car's side window. His face shows the passage of time. Twenty six years.

"Well, almost never change."

Cooper walks down the street knowing every step will take him into the heart of Twin Peaks; a beautiful yet dark heart....
