Watched the whole show twice last month.

If you skip those soap opera bits where James goes off on his motorbikes and gets involved in a plot to murder a rich husband, you won't miss anything. I have no idea why that was included, but it was awful. The rest, I personally loved.

I agree; the show is a classic. The James on the road saga is lame. I am binge watching season 1 right now, and will certainly continue watching season 2, but skip most of the James scenes.

This is one of my comfort shows. I have rewatched it off and on for years but I always stop halfway through.

This time I want to finish it before the new season starts.

I forgot the new episodes were coming before I started re-watching. I just finished season 1 yesterday. Hope I can finish all of season 2 by May 21.

(notice my very subdued and matter of fact tone. this is how i post now that i've retired.)

Today I am going to make that french baguette bread Ben and Jerry were eating .

Never tried it, but it looks so delicious and easy to make.

French baguette bread , spread some soft butter, cover with brie cheese. Then warm up a little whether you like it soft or crispy.

Hope they didn't over exaggerate the taste .

Sounds divine! I miss Paris and French take away. Heck, I miss Twin Peaks even now, rewatching it! I miss not knowing what was going to happen in the next episode.

It depends on the baguette. It has to be GOOD. A good brie and butter are important too, but that isn't that complicated. Find a good baguette or it will all come to nothing.

Very true, i guess to do it right I'm going to have to do a little search on good bread bakeries near me. Know of any good butter and cheese brands.

I forgot to mention I wanted a smoked cheese pig as well, lol

I was like 10 or 11 when this aired on t.v. so it stuck with me very strongly. I just got a garbage pail kid pack the other week out of nostalgia and one of the cards was Cherry Coooper!! It felt like fate.

The card Is awesome as well. Its dale cooper with pies everywhere, Bob jumping out. Black lodge floor pattern.

For butter just buy real organic butter, no additives. Brie i can't advise, since tastes vary and there are so many types. Any good shop offers you to taste before you buy though, no?

I know nothing about smoked pigs. If you get one, I'd like to have a tiny bite, just to try it, ok?

I think the smoked pig is just a block of provelone shaped like a miniature pig and smoked?

Oh man just bought some bri. Not what I was thinking. Hard on top and bottom and creamy in middle. Here it goes

You've never eaten Brie? Lovely. I sometimes put a few slices of pear on top.

I don't smoke pigs, just normal cigarettes, thank you. Am also allergic to pig meat.

It didn't look good , but in the sandwich it worked very well. Tatsed amazing. I ended up getting the baguette at panera bread. Bri was boars head, and some organic butter.

A smoked pig I believe is just a block of provelone cheese shaped as a small pig and smoked. No meat

I am still on the second season, but it's my favorite so I'm trying to go slow and not binge watch it. I'm sure you can finish it!

(I didn't notice until you pointed it out. But yeah, there's a big difference. I'm much more subdued too. I just wish I knew how to change my name on here. I feel like the "dragged" really hurts my credibility.)

I hope I can. I barely remember anything from my first time watching. Probably bc I was watching while posting on a now defunct message board.

(Yeah, I bet a lot of people nearly replied to you but then realized you had been dragged af and thought better of it so as to not sully their reputations.)
