What was the point of Edna's edibles? Sure it burned down, but it served it's porpoise of connecting the girls with their college peers, introduce a one off character and made sense in a place like peekskill.
Over our heads seems so gimmicky with the girls selling items they aren't don't even know what they are like the red gummy. After Mrs. G seemed so hard broken after the fire I thought she would rebuild it or maybe open a shop like JC Penny's or Rose brothers

I didn't really like "Over Our Heads" either. To make Mrs. Garrett go from a caterer of gourmet food to making cookies? She wasn't hip enough to pull off that shop, even though she tried. I agree that "Edna's Edibles" fit in much more with the small town feel. And the way they guilted Natalie into giving her vacation money to them was sort of mean too!
