Extra Details: Episode 23 is listed inaccurately. This should be split into episode 23 and 24 as it is two seperate episodes.

I tried to add and correct this but it appears locked???

TMDb chose to follow the original airing order and format rather than the production codes many, many years ago. This is not something we have the power to change on a whim.

While I do think we should revise the rule to better reflect the reality (e.g. based on the airing format PLUS proof of production codes), I respect the decision. I also understand we need some rules to make things in order, particular with a collection of so much information.

In the meantime, could we have something like episode group, to make a special episodes format for blu-ray, or airing order in other countries? The episode group idea is a good one, but apparently it is not enough for situation like The Big Bang Theory season 12. I believe this helps most people instead of debating the rules.

That's a good question. I'm fairly certain it was originally locked with 24 episodes.

It has only 23 episodes now for season 12. Maybe someone moves the special farewell episode to special season because it is, well, a special episode. I say if we are sticking to the rule, everything should stick to the rule. If not, it is actually quite a general wisdom that season 12 does have episode 23 and 24, plus the farewell episode in special season. I am more than happy for that.

The farewell episode has now been returned to its S12E24 place.
