1) The gang all took off to grab a Pastrami sandwich from the food truck. What is your favorite sandwich ?
2) On another topic I don't know what the ancient Chinese called a sandwich but I think of a sandwich as using sliced bread to contain the ingredients, and don't picture ancient chinese with sliced bread. The Chinese food that Sheldon was eating looked like MooShu pork which uses tortilla like "mooshu pancakes" to contain the ingredients. Sheldon was having what might be called a "wrap".

Individually, each ingredient would be a pleasure; but, bundled—couldn’t do it.
As for the Brits eating beans on toast; just goes to show…something that would “clear the room” if put on one table, can be a dietary delight on another.
Anyway, seems it's all good however it's done—read that when it comes to balancing out the effects of carbs on the body, beans, when eaten with high carbs food (bread/pasta/rice/etc.), are a great equalizer.

Since we are discussing sandwiches -- Today, April 12, is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day!
In case you are wondering...
*My
favorite!
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
87% of those surveyed LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches.
13% of those surveyed were, NO DOUBT, suffering from Ageusia.

I love Grilled Cheese sandwiches. I generally use a sharp cheddar, bread depends what flavor I buy that week, occasionally I'll include thinly sliced red onion or tomato. Also there's nothing like a grilled cheese & tomato soup on a cold day (or when you are sick).

Definitely one of my go to sandwiches: good plain or adorned, great for mixing-and-matching, excellent chipsmate, easy on the budget, and generally ingredients are always on-hand.

There are some restaurants with a "double decker BLT" that you may want to try. I think both IHOP and Village Inn have them, among others.

Thanks Knixon, but I prefer to make my own (although the BLT in the picture looks good). I don't eat out much mainly because I'm so picky about what I eat & you can never be sure about the cleanliness of the staff & the restaurant. I have a few places I will eat but I never eat at fast food places.

I never thought of Village Inn or IHOP as "fast food" but I guess some people do.

Raj: "Did you see his vegetable garden? Heirloom tomatoes in April. Creepy."
Sheldon has certainly changed. (Well done, Amy
"Oh, the thing about tomatoes, and I think you'll really enjoy this, is they're shelved with the vegetables, but they're technically a fruit."
And then added: "So, this is not a vegetable, but a fruit garden."
