What is it going to take for Leonard to finally snap over Sheldon's craziness ?

Stealing the bitcoin and hiding it for years was horrible and mean. I don't care how quirky Sheldon is supposed to be, that was just awful. Why no one has been driven to get all junior rodeo on him is a mystery. It was just theft, even if it was just virtual currency. Sheldon left Pasadena when the apartment got robbed and went nuts when Todd Zarneki took his battle ostrich and other make believe stuff. This is no different. Bad Sheldon ! Where is a squirt bottle when you need one ? Penny should have just socked him in the jaw like she did to Howard long ago.

I'd rather she kicked Sheldon in the groin like with Zarnecki. In fact he's probably deserved that several times over the years.

Did she kick, or just grab? My recollection of their discussion, including events from their childhood, was the latter.
I wonder if they'll now feel compelled to remove those references - it is kinda sexual assault, after all - from syndicated repeats because of recent events in Hollyweird.

But that would be wrong. So the gang has to put up with his self-centered #@&%%& until_** THEY**_ grow up.

I can't re-watch since my dvr wasn't working, but I don't recall them knowing/remembering how much bitcoin they'd actually "mined" in the past. It might not have been all that much.
Also, I've seen/heard/read about some bitcoin "exchanges" failing somehow. Don't remember if they were covered/insured somehow, but it certainly wouldn't be something like FDIC. Sounds like it could be similar to Old West banks that would issue currency that was good for that bank, maybe just in that town, but if the bank failed it was worthless. So you'd have things like an episode with "Hannibal Hayes and Kid Curry" ("Alias Smith And Jones," one of my older brother's favorite shows) finding or stealing or whatever, a bunch of "money" that turned out to be worthless because the bank it came from no longer existed. Or, for that matter, Confederate money, except for collectors. If Howard and Leonard and Raj "mined" bitcoin via an exchange (or however that worked) that later failed, it might not be worth anything even if they "mined" a lot.
Maybe they'll follow up in a later episode, but given this show's history that seems unlikely. Leonard and Penny's "relationship agreement" has disappeared too.

Every group has a "Sheldon" or a "Shedon" (hopefully not more than one). Yes, sometimes they pluck your last nerve; but, they are good-people. You put up with them because when all is said and done it would break your
if something happened to them.

I use to defend Sheldon when he was just a self centered jerk. But this crosses the line. I would at least like to see Leonard say that to him and ask him to leave and not come back.
This being a sit-com it wouldn't last but I would like _ SOMETHING_ from these guys.

A non-lethal (includes no damage to body parts) payback would be acceptable/preferred--but can't think of anything at the moment.
Such a comeuppance would be a blow to the biggest part of him--his ego!

That could be where a Nobel Prize comes in. But that wouldn't be so much the other guys' personal revenge. Unless they somehow came up with a way of fooling Sheldon into believing one of them got it and he didn't.

Well they did trick Sheldon when they went to the North Pole on that research trip. Sheldon's typical response is to just reject whoever he has a feud with and take back his friendship, except when he dumped that foam on Kripke and the Cal Tech bigwigs. Or in the Physics bowl when he just started his own team. Or he would just run off and take a train somewhere.

Well, the problem with setting up a scam Nobel Prize - like that Leonard won it for the idea leading to the gyroscope etc, but Sheldon isn't even mentioned - is that it would be too easy for Sheldon to find out it wasn't true.

Yeah. But, for sanity-sake; not vengeance. It was either that, or murder him and make it look like an accident.
The problem with the guys is that when it comes to payback, they don’t have an inner Kripke-Nowitzki beast to channel. They can't go deep or devious enough to really ring-his-bell. They are too nice.
