Discuss Agymenők

I ended up flipping to it last night, and I gotta admit it was ok. Last night felt like a Raising hope episode. Only problem I have is that Sheldon's "Go for it on 4th down everytime" strategy wouldn't work at any level beyond junior football.

Junior football coaches already employ the "don't punt " strategy because kids make horrible kickers.

It was alright. I am not sure if I like the gambling drinking Meemaw quite yet. So far everybody is treating Young Sheldon pretty well. By the way was that Ray Liotta as Meemaws bookie ? I sure looked like and sounded like him.

If so, that would mean The Orville isn't the only show getting top-shelf guest stars.

Yes I looked it up and that was Ray Liotta, who by the way has been on lots of television shows. Maybe he is in the 'special guest star" phase of his career.

As for "The Orville" what would Seth McFarland be without guest stars or at least dropping names of known actors.

Seems like there must be something more to it, since he's gotten several shows on the air before he had famous guest stars appearing. Not that he's the modern indispensable creative genius, but still. Give him SOME credit. Even if he only got the studio to agree to making The Orville because he said he could get Charlize Theron etc to appear, that's still based on past performance/reputation that must be more than thin air. If his shows are just no good except for the guest stars, how did he convince guest stars to begin appearing on his no-good shows?
