I would probably see this show going for at most another few seasons more. So what could be successfully done in the next few seasons? Chuck also has said it will probably end after 12 seasons.
So whats the perfect way to end it all?
I'd say end it HUGE like Sheldon discovers something monumental and wins the Nobel Peace Prize and the whole gang is there listening to his acceptance speech. He then rips all the gang a new one but then ends it with saying how much they all contributed to him winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I'd like Leonard and Penny to have a kid. Sheldon and Amy get married.
But most of all Raj needs to finally find the one and get married as well. Maybe they all can go to India for a BIG Indian wedding!

If this site had an ignore feature, I'd use it. But I'd like it (in case any TBDB people are here) to work like Facebook, where I can't see him, and he can't see me. That puts an undisputed end to this. But I'll give it a try. My bet is he'll want the last word. He can have it. The problem is, he'll just keep on doing what he's done in multiple threads - and someone will reply to him and allow him to pull discussions off into SEMANTIC-LAND, or worse yet, land of his own assumptions. He's done it over and over again.

Go find some "man in the street" type people etc, show them what you wrote, and ask them if they think you were implying that Howard's father left his mother for the same reason Howard would leave Bernadette, in that scenario. I can wait. But I have my doubts you would report the results honestly, since they would show you to be wrong.
To really be accurate, it should probably be people who are familiar with the show. But even without that, it should be fairly clear.

Ahhhhh, that's nice. Now I never have to see him again! Hopefully it cloaks my posts for him too. That's one thing about IMDB - when you ignored a poster, they could still see and reply to your posts. And then invariably someone would quote them and you'd end up seeing their inane replies anyway. Hopefully that's not the case here.

Mentioned--Yes (The Letter). Specified--No. (but, 1 of the 6 statements).
Agree about Howard not leaving his family--can't see it either. Generally, from what I've observed, such people tend to over-compensate in the care-and-feeding department; not wanting to shortchange their kid(s) the way they feel they were shortchanged. (Just to be clear; I have no vast knowledge on this subject--just going by what I've seen/the people I know.
ON ANOTHER NOTE: Howard said (speaking to Leonard at the time--I think) that when his Dad was around his mother was nothing like she is now --that she changed after he left. So, can't know where anyone got the notion that the Deb-Deb 'we knew' (and that Bernie may one day become like) is the reason that Howard's Dad left.

LMAO! So it kind of comes full circle then? Sheldon interviewing his new roommate and has all the contracts out for them to sign.
I actually like the idea of Penny returning to acting. I'd assume it wouldn't be that realistic for her to even be as successful as she was in pharmaceutical sales when she wasn't exactly studious in school and science like the rest of the team.
Raj, needs to meet his match. Perhaps he gives in and lets his parents arrange his marriage for him and shes a smoking hot bollywood star.

Something that just hit me. Would it have been so wrong to just tell Howard the truth about what was in the letter. They were all pretty tame after all. Howard did go to space so I assume he could also learn what was in the letter without shedding too many tears. I am sure Beverly would tell him. Probably wouldn't make as good a scene for the show.

But he whined about it most of the time, didn't he?

Yes those astronauts were mean and he can read about it in Beverly's new book "Needy Howard, Whiny Howard" Come to think of it Howard's whining has decreased. Or has It ?

I think one thing that's being overlooked here is that I wrote that about Howard leaving his family, as well as all the other examples, as a joke loaded with sarcasm. I never really made the statement that Howard would, could, or should leave his family.
Again - I wrote this as a joke.
"How about this....
Leonard and Penny get divorced
Howard is miserable because Bernie completes her transition into being EXACTLY like his mother, and he leaves just like his Dad did.
Sheldon watches as Bert and Kripke win a Nobel Prize, while his grant is canceled and he is then forced to move and live back home with his Mom in Texas, and works at The Apple Store.
Raj gets deported.
Amy marries David Gibbs - the English guy she dated after she broke up with Sheldon.
Stuart's store takes off and becomes a successful Comic Book Chain of stores, both brick and mortar, AND on the internet, and he becomes a "Jeff Bezos" type of billionaire.
Bob Newhart then wakes up and realizes the entire series has been yet another long and weird dream.
The End"

When Howard isn't whining, Raj usually is. When neither are whining, Stuart seems to take over that role. Seems that one of the three are always whining. Can you imagine if all three did it at the same time?

Don't forget Leonard. That makes four. Sheldon should research the possible effects of all four whining at the same time.
