Discuss Big Bang: A Teoria

This may sound odd, and I thought it was when I heard it too, but we were at a large gathering a few years back, and one woman (it was actually an older woman - older than me which means OLDER - lol) actually posed the question "Did you actually have sex on your wedding night?"

Now while most who were willing to answer the question said YES, I was taken aback at how many people actually said NO. And yes, more than a couple people were 'off-put' by the question. But since this woman persisted - a quite interesting discussion sprung from it.

So, since weddings are all the rage here this season and with some posters, I thought I'd pose it here.

Us? Yes, we did. We actually didn't go to a hotel on our wedding night - but to my/our condo. We left for our honeymoon trip 36 hours later. We were exhausted - but still young enough to 'consummate' the evening. Actually a great night from 1am - 3:30am. The thing we were most tired for was a scheduled brunch the next morning at 11am to open gifts. That morning was probably one of the hardest ones to ever get up and get going.

I thought we might get some honest answers here on this admittingly odd topic, since we really don't personally know each other in 'the real world'.

Not a fan, no. I voted for Ted Cruz, and then I voted for the Republican nominee because Hillary - or Bernie or anyone else the Dems put up - would have been a disaster. Economically and other ways too.

When you get right down to it, Neil Gorsuch alone is ample justification.

HA well you actually voted for TRUMP so I now know your judgement is totally off. I thought you were a decent person this whole time lol.

Hopefully you will learn from your mistakes in 2020. Let me guess you are from the south huh? It takes guts to admit that, well oh well. Hopefully impeachment happens sooner than later. As bad as Pence is, at least he's been more sane and stable than Trump.

Mentioning impeachment shows who's really deluded. Getting Pence would require both a majority vote in the House, and a 2/3rds vote in the Senate. Do your fever dreams lead you to believe either the first or the second - but especially the second - is likely in either 2018 or 2020?

And remember, I didn't vote for Trump. I voted for Cruz. And then I voted against Hillary. Because Hillary would have been worse. Just for starters: Supreme Court Justice Obama? Supreme Court Justice Bill Clinton? "Gag me with a chainsaw." Heck I wouldn't put it past her to nominate herself to the Supreme Court and then resign as President.

I've actually heard speculation that Trump could win re-election in 2020 by a larger majority in the Electoral College, even if the popular vote is less than 2016. And then the whining from the coasts will get even louder. But PRC (People's Republic of California) already has 55 electoral votes, compared to just 3 each for Alaska, Delaware, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming. Four more states have 4 each. That's 11 states with a total of just 37 electoral votes. How much of an advantage does PRC they think they need, to run roughshod over everyone else and get what they want, every time?

So you are a white man from the south who voted for Trump wow big surprise lol.

Theres no justification for voting for Trump. Can you honestly think you made the right decision. You enjoy Trump's late night tweets making all of us including yourself face palm every other night? Focusing on Undoing all the great things Obama did for us just out of his insecure racist mind that won't allow him to give credit to Obama for anything because he's black?

I'm not saying Hilary is perfect, but god damn we'd all sleep better not knowing the president is Tweeting at 2am and trying to provoke NK every other day.

Do you make like 50 million a year to qualify for his inheritance tax scam?

Actually I'm from Oregon. Another state that Democrats have been slowly grinding down to nothing - or less than nothing - for decades.

You obviously haven't read about things like how many Obamacare "exchanges" have collapsed, including in Oregon. (Which also led to a trail of corruption leading to many political figures including the governor.) How many counties have just one insurer "choice" - which isn't really a choice - or none at all. Along with so much more. Skyrocketing premiums and deductibles which means "coverage" that people can't actually use. Just for starters, not even getting into all that "pen and a phone" nonsense, etc. And you know what? I don't read twitter at all. It's irrelevant to me. If others want to get worked up over nothing, that's on them.

Obama's annual economic growth rate was a miserable 2% or less. It's already over 3% so far and could go over 4%; that alone could get Trump re-elected. He might even get a lot of votes from people who will claim that they didn't vote for him, out of fear of being ostracized.

Dude I had a baby under the Obama administration guess how much we paid for it? ZERO! Our health care was incredible. So not sure what you are complaining about. I personally had clients who had major stomach surgery, fighting off cancer, and organ transplants and they said if they didn't have Obamacare they'd be dead today.

Do you really think Trump is good for the economy? You don't think any of those figures are from the accomplishments of the most recent president that came right before him? Like I said you and I as successful as we both are won't even benefit from his shady Inheritance Tax scam nor will our kids its about as beneficial as getting a degree at Trump University. Oh yeah remember that one? How do you justify Trump University one of the biggest joke scams in all of history. Trump had to pay 25 million just to settle it before he could be inaugurated LMAO.

I hope you are not getting your facts from all the RUSSIAN TROLL BOTS bro.

I'm glad you are from Oregon, since your vote didn't count since your state is Blue. Its the swing states and the south that I have no faith in.

What I'm glad about is all those people along the coasts of California and New York etc, whose votes basically didn't count. And how pissed they are about it. And for once, those narrow strips of mostly rather wealthy people along the beaches, didn't get to override all the rest of the people in the larger areas of the states. But PRC still gets to vote for Gov Moonbeam etc, at least until all the people who actually generate income and pay taxes, leave - mostly for Texas, it seems - and the state is immediately bankrupt not just sometime in the future when all the union pension corruption etc. comes due.

I was wondering how Vladimir Putin got an account on here.

Just teasing Knixon, don't hurt me.

I'm baffled by people who seem to think Putin - and maybe others too - wouldn't have had a pretty easy time getting Hillary to do whatever they wanted. Especially since they certainly had everything that was on her illegal private email server. I'd also like someone to explain to me how building up the military, increasing energy production including being able to export natural gas to countries that had previously been totally dependent on Russia, and so on, is somehow serving Putin's interests.

They don't, but Trump's business ventures in Russia certainly do. Obviously not every policy Trump enacts is going to point to Russia ties, but his economic ties there suggest potential conflicts of interest that are rightfully of concern.

BTW, I don't like Hillary anymore than I like Trump.

The Clintons and others around them got plenty of money from Russia and Russian interests too. Uranium One being just one example.

I agree with you, but your point is inherently whataboutism. The Clintons' corruption doesn't absolve Trump.

LMAO ArticFox12 i had to lol and like your comment. But yeah Knixon u seem like a cool dude lets just stick to tv shows on this forum though cause there's no way of justifying voting for Trump no matter what.

Maybe not, but if Trump's corruption - if there really is any, which hasn't been proven - is really only about business, that's far less dangerous than the Clintons' actual corruption of their offices. Uranium One again being just a starting point. The Clinton Foundation got BILLIONS of dollars from Russian and other interests that don't necessarily have good will towards the US. Trump has made his money from business, the Clintons have only gotten wealthy from "public service."

Funny, I would say that about the Clintons. Especially Hillary.

I'm just curious. Can someone point me to what specifically are Trump's business ventures in Russia ?

Thanks.
