Agreed, it's disgusting. But Slade would've died in that bunker if Oliver didn't come and get him for help. You feel bad for Nyssa.. God she's hot.

I really hope Malcolm is dead cant stand the actor.

So one thought for how they survive is, they made their way back to the bunker/cell, which maybe provided them protection from the explosions; at least enough not to kill them outright. Maybe there's damage, where they struggle to get out, and some of them are injured.

Dude, the guy's acting is superb, I honestly think the show would lose a good character if his contract has really ran out.

Sounds plausible. If I were in their shoes my survival instinct would tell me to jump to the sea and swim as far as possible away from the island.
