With the exception of a few episodes, the show moves at a snails pace to me. It's starting to get really heavily slow. Too much focus on randomness like gardening, walking, driving. Negan's scenes actually feel like highlights in each episode, though he's the main villain right now.

They have ben doing this since the Governor arc which IMO should have been started and completed in one season. But No, they had to stretch it into the next season. Just like Negan should have murdered Glenn and Abraham at the end of last season and this season should have been the war the entire season and ending it this season. But now I bet the war will last all the way through next season. Talk about just squeezing out as much as possible. They suck.

You can blame Scott Pimple. Ever since he came on board, the pacing has slowed down and TWD turned into a "chick-flick" with people exploring their feelings and stuff.

I agree 100%. They're too far into this season for the war to conclude. The effect of season after season of dragging things out has taken its toll on me.
