Anybody else sick of Carol?

She went from being this shy little mouse letting her sloppy husband beat the shit outta her to giving kids advice how to sneak through the woods like a green beret. All the while holding the rifle as awkwardly as you would expect a hippie would. Someone please show this actress how to handle a weapon. You surely can't pretend you are Rambo if you can't act like you know how to hold a rifle.
My point is this character is badly written. I think it is a waste of screen time for a show that suffers horribly from terrible pacing. Just either get rid of her or throw her in the mix with the rest of the crowd. She surely doesn't need her own spin off.

I still think that - together with Daryl - she is carrying the series. For me it was all downhill from the Terminus plot, which I personally found to be the most thrilling and exciting one of all seasons. After some filler episodes in Season 6 they had the chance for a turnaround in story telling with that phenomenal Episode 9 "No Way Out". But unfortunately they didn't took that chance and we were even left with a cliffhanger on the season finale. Since Season 7 TWD feels completely different, almost like a soap opera. The writing, the dialogues and yes, even the acting are so bad that it is hard for me to continue watching.

I'm not heated. You are. All I did was agree with the OP and you and others lost your cool. Carol is a badly written character and the writing for this season is terrible. Carol isn't going back to being a badass. She's gonna continue acting like a whinner until she dies. She dies in the comic so she will die on the show too. She's never going back to the badass that you keep fooling yourself into.

Carol isn't getting her shit together. She's a whinner like Rick was when he decided to give up his position as leader to be a farmer at the prison. Totally unrealistic but since Rick is the main character, he is virtually untouchable whereas Carol's fate is set. She dies in the comic so she will die on the show. Her time on the show is about finished.

You made some reference about not everyone liking Carol and to get over it. I replied back "to you" that some do and that you needed to get over it. You've had a hair across your ass since. If you're gonna open a door, expect somebody to walk through it.
In your own words, it's just a show...or some sh*it like that. You can agree with whoever you want. It ain'changing nothing. Don't mean everybody's gonna feel the same way.

That implies that the OP, I and others don't know what we are talking about with Carol, the writing and her characterization.
And then you went on to give excuses for the bad writing that is happening with Carol. You posted the same message 3 freaking times. Get a grip please. You're the one who got "heated" and posting the same replu three times because you saw that there are people who don't like Carol now or all along.
I can reply to the post you made to Bee if that helps bring some logic and rationale to this conversation that is bordering on an argument because of your immaturity. We don't like Carol. The OP is asking for reaponses from like minded individuals. Why did you come into this discussion to annoy us with your stupid fandom. Create your own thread glorifying stupid Carol and the awful writing for this season.

I still like Carol but the story line she's on now is a bit odd or old. I can see that she doesn't want to fight or kill anymore but that's the world she's in. Living alone is more likely to have her face violence, and there are people she cares about that she'd want to work with even just for day to day living.

I think that you ought to go make your own thread glorifying Carol since you cannot handle people who don't like Carol. I was already done with the conversation with you until you basically attacked me when I was never heated in the first place. So when you calm the f- down, you'll see how NOT upset I was in the first place. I don't see this disagreement about Carol a Carol fans VS Carol haters. I see it as an intelligent discussion about why Carol got on our nerves.
Now go make a silly Carol is the greatest thread and leave the rest of us sick of Carol alone. Nobody asked you to be a part of the conversation and if you wanted to be in it then at least have a reasonable explanation for the poor writing rather than behaving like a 13 year with enthusiasm at a football game.
