Having cleared the air at Black Is Back, Jordan and Bri find themselves growing closer, while Becky and P’Jae’s status remains uncertain. As the crew heads to a luxe estate in Palm Springs to celebrate Amanda’s 25th birthday, will a bad omen and unexpected antics from party guests spoil the good vibes?

When P’Jae’s showstopping entrance leaves the group divided, Ty and Amanda quickly find themselves fed up. Later, an opulent dinner party promises to reinstate the positive energy – until some uncomfortable confrontations interrupt the good vibes.

Palm Springs’ messy aftermath finds Jordan confessing his apprehensions about Bri to The Wood, while P’Jae and Becky try to define their relationship. Inspired by the crew’s hustle, Bri considers launching her own business, and later, Ty hosts a “Legacy Table” networking dinner dedicated to her incarcerated father.

After opening up about their relationship hang-ups, Jordan’s personal issues come into focus, and Jerrold gets clarity about moving in with Cheryl. Meanwhile, Amanda celebrates purchasing her first home, Bri ventures into new waters, and a game of telephone leaves Ty worried she’s put her boyfriend Jay in a bad spot.

Friendships are tested when Ty brings two different circles together for her 26th birthday in Cabo. Amanda connects with Cheryl, who’s looking to let loose on the trip, while Bri gets her flirt on, and things get awkward between Becky and P’Jae.

The Cabo party gets wild as Cheryl’s alter ego makes an appearance and Ty wrangles Candiss’ over-the-top drama. After Jordan leaves her high and dry yet again, Bri connects with Kam. Later, P’Jae throws Becky for a loop.

While planning his upcoming block party, Ty and Amanda hold P’Jae accountable for his actions in Cabo. Jerrold’s podcast creates a safe space for the guys to talk about mental health, but things get heated when the discussion turns to finances and privilege. Later, Bri and Jordan search for romance outside the friend group.

At a photoshoot for Cheryl’s fashion line, Ty confronts a defensive Jerrold about his role in the podcast drama. Later, insight from Jordan’s mom prompts him to clear the air with Jay. Though the block party finds P’Jae in his element, the festivities are cut short as simmering conflicts threaten to tear the crew apart.

After a welcome from Issa Rae, the cast sits down with Kamie Crawford to bond and look toward the future. But just when the group seems ready to move on, lingering resentments surface — and someone from their past keeps them on their toes.

The crew is back, bringing all the drama. After P’Jae’s radio interview exposes dysfunction in the friend group, a confrontation at Bri’s body butter launch party leads to further chaos.
